East Coast Railway Recruitment notification has been released for Apprentice Posts. The Apprentice job notification has been released by Railway Recruitment Cell, Bhubaneswar under the Apprentice Act, 1961 Over East Coast Railway. It is to note that a total of 1216 vacant apprentice positions are going to be filled through this recruitment drive. All interested and eligible candidates need to apply through the prescribed format.
The online application process for East Coast Railway Apprentice has already started and the last date to apply for the respective posts is January 6, 2020. In addition, candidates need to be in the age group of 15 – 24 years to apply for the respective post. In order to apply for the Apprentice post, candidates need to have passed class 10th exam from a recognized board with 50 percent marks. Candidates also need to have National Trade Certificate in relevant discipline.
Further, for the Sheet Metal Worker, Trade Welder (Gas & Electric) and Wiremen & Carpenter posts, candidates need to be class 8th pass and should have National Trade Certificate in relevant trades. The number of vacancies released by Railway Recruitment Cell are as follows:
