Southern Railway Recruitment Notification Released For Apprentice Posts, Apply Now

Southern Railway recruitment notification has been released for Apprentice Post. A total of 3429 vacant apprentice posts are going to be filled through this recruitment drive. Out of the total posts 1108 vacancies are for Carriage & Wagon Works, Perambur, 1654 vacancies are for Signal & Telecommunication Workshop, Podanur and 667 vacancies are for Central Workshop, Golden Rock. All eligible and interested candidates need to apply through the prescribed format on the official website, i.e. sr.indianrailways.gov.in.

All eligible candidates should note that the last date to fill the online application online is December 31, 2019. Eligible candidates who are resident of the geographical jurisdiction of southern railway, i.e. Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

In order to apply for the Apprentice posts, candidates need to have passed class 12^th examination from a recognized board with minimum 50 percent marks and should have ITI certificate in respective trade. Candidates must have completed 15 years of age and should be below 22/24 years of age to apply for the Apprentice post. Candidates will be selected on the basis of percentage of marks in board exam and ITI Examination.
