West Railway recruitment notification has been released against Scouts and Guides Quota. The recruitment drive is going to be conducted by Western Railway for the Sportspersons posts. All eligible and interested candidates need to apply through the prescribed format latest by February 6, 2020. It is to note that the online application for the Sportspersons post against Scouts and Guides Quota will start from January 7, 2020. Candidates must make sure to go through the official notification and eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the posts.
A total of 2 and 12 vacant positions are going to be filled for the posts under Level 2 (Gr. C) and Level 1(Erstwhile Gr. D) respectively. In order to apply for the Level 2 (Gr. C) posts, candidates need to have passed class 12th examination from a recognized board with at-least 50 percent marks.
For the Level 1(Erstwhile Gr. D) post, candidates need to have passed class 10 examination or ITI or equivalent. Candidates with Apprenticeship Certificate granted by NCVT are also eligible to apply for the post. The salary for Level 2 (Gr. C) and Level 1(Erstwhile Gr. D) will be in the scale of Rs 19,900 – Rs 63,200 and Rs 18,000 – Rs 56,900 per month respectively. Candidates applying for Level 2 (Gr. C) and Level 1(Erstwhile Gr. D) posts need to be in the age group of 18-30 years and 18-33 years respectively.
