GPSC State Tax Inspector Exam has been postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. According to the official notification released online by Gujarat Public Service Commission, the State Tax Inspector Exam 2020 has been postponed due to the lockdown that has been imposed in the country in view of COVID-19 outbreak. Earlier, the GPSC Tax Inspector Exam was scheduled to be conducted on March 29, 2020.

All eligible candidates who applied for the Tax Inspector Exam need to visit the official website of GPSC, i.e. gpsc.gujarat.gov.in to check the detailed notification regarding the postponement of State Tax Inspector Exam 2020. The revised exam timetable for the GPSC State Tax Inspector post will be released by the commission in due course of time.

The GPSC Tax Inspector Exam will include a screening test of 200 marks wherein questions from the sections of General Studies will be asked. The time duration of the exam will be 120 minutes.
Candidates who qualify the Prelims round will be called for Main round and interview for final selection. According to the latest updates, the GPSC State Tax Inspector Exam will be conducted on April 26, 2020 if the situation is brought under control during that period.
