HPPSC Recruitment Notification For Lecturer Posts Released, Apply At hppsc.hp.gov.in

HPPSC recruitment notification for Lecturer posts has been released by Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. All interested and eligible candidates need to visit the official website, i.e. hppsc.hp.gov.in to apply online for the respective posts. It is to note that a total of 396 vacant positions are going to be filled through this recruitment drive. The last date to apply for the Lecturer posts is December 30, 2019. Candidates must make sure to read the official notification and eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the lecturer positions.  

The post-wise number of vacancies released by the commission are as follows:  

Commerce: 215 

Political Science: 40 

Hindi: 47 

History: 47  

English: 47 

Academic Qualifications: Master's Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University (with a minimum of 50% Marks in aggregate) or its equivalent. Candidates having a Master's Degree in Public Administration are eligible for Lecturer (School New) Political Science. 

In order to apply for the Lecturer post, candidates need to have Master’s degree in the respective subject from a recognized university with minimum 50 percent marks. In addition, candidates with Master’s Degree in Public Administration from a recognized university are eligible for Lecturer/Political Science).  

For the Lecturer (School-New) Commerce post, candidates need to be the degree holder in Commerce with Accountancy/Finanancial Accountancy and Income Tax as major subject. All candidates who are applying for the Lecturer Post need to be in the age group of 18 to 45 years.  

Candidates will be selected on the basis of objective type written test. All candidates from General Category/EWS will have to Rs 400 as the application fee whereas the application fee is Rs 100 for SC/ST candidates. For more details, candidates need to visit the official website of the commission.
