SSC CGL 2019 recruitment dates have been announced by the commission. All those eligible candidates who wish to apply for the SSC CGL 2019 exam will be able to register for the entrance exam soon on the official website, i.e. ssc.nic.in. It is to note that Staff Selection Commission has already released the SSC Calendar 2019-2020 On September 30, 2019. As per the SSC Calendar, the SSC CGL 2019 Exam notification will release on October 22, 2019. All interested and eligible candidates need to apply for the SSC CGL 2019 exam latest by November 22, 2019.
The SSC CGL 2019 Tier 1 Computer-Based Exam is likely to be conducted from March 2 to March 11, 2020. In addition, the SSC CGL Tier 2 and SSC CGL Tier 3 2019 exams will be held in-between June 22 to June 25, 2019. All candidates must visit the official website of SSC on regular basis to get the latest updates. The SSC CGL application process is online, and the application link will be soon activated on the official website, ssc.nic.in.
Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC CGL exam to recruit candidates for various posts in concerned Ministries and Departments of Government of India. The SSC recruitment process comprises exams in 4 tiers wherein each phase should be cleared according to the requirement of posts.
The overview of SSC CGL 2019 Exam Pattern is as follows:
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam comprises 100 questions of 200 marks from 4 sections of General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The time duration of the exam is 60 minutes. There is negative marking of 0.50 mark for every wrong answer.
The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam paper includes 4 sections of Quantitative Ability (100 questions), English Language and Comprehension (200 questions), Statistics (100 questions) and General Studies (Finance and Economics) (100 questions). Every question in this section will carry 1 mark. The time allotted for every section is 2 hours.
The SSC CGL Tier 3 exam paper is a descriptive test of marks. The section covered in this paper is English/Hindi (Writing of Essay, Precis, Letter, etc) and the time duration of the paper is 60 minutes.
The SSC CGL Tier 4 Exam is a Computer Skill Test and is conducted in two phases.
