SSC CGL registration process 2019 will begin today and all eligible candidates need to apply through the prescribed format at the official website of staff selection commission, i.e. ssc.nic.in. SSC CGL Recruitment drive is being conducted for Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in respective departments, organizations and ministries in Government of India. It is to note that the last date to fill the SSC CGL online application form is November 22, 2019. The selection process of SSC CGL recruitment will be done based on Tier I, Tier II, Tier III and Tier IV exams.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will be held from March 2 to March 11, 2019 in online mode. In addition, the SSC CGL Tier 2 and Tier 3 exams are likely to be conducted between June 22 and June 25, 2019. The SSC Tier 4 exam dates are yet to announced by the commission. According to the past year trends, the upper age limit of candidates should be 30 years. The salary package of Group C and Group B posts as per past trends will be in the scale of Rs 5200 to Rs 2020 and Rs 9300 to Rs 34800 respectively.
The SSCGL Recruitment drive is being conducted to fill vacant posts of Auditor, Accountant, Accountant/Junior Accountant, Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division clerks, Tax Assistant, Sub-Inspector, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant, Inspector of Income Tax, Inspector, (Central Excise), Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector (Examiner), Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspector, Inspector Posts, Divisional Accountant Inspector and Junior Statistical Officer.
SSC CGL 2019: Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the post of Assistant Audit Officer, candidates need to have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. For the post of Junior Statistical Officer, candidates need to have Bachelor’s degree in any subject with at-least 60 percent marks in Mathematics at class 12 standard level or Bachelor’s degree with Statistics as one of the major subjects.
For all the other posts, candidates need to have Graduation from a recognized university. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply.
SSC CGL 2019: Exam Pattern
The Tier 1 SSC CGL exam will be objective type and is going to be conducted in online mode. There will be 100 questions from the sections of Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The Tier 2 exam will be Computer Based Test and questions from English Language & Comprehension, Quantitative Abilities, Statistics and General Studies (Finance and Economics) and English Language & Comprehension.
The Tier III exam will be descriptive type and will be conducted in online mode. There will questions on Essay writing, Letter writing and application writing on Hindi and English. The Tier 4 exam will be a Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test/Document Verification.
