SSC has released an important notice for CHSL 2019 Exam due to Coronavirus outbreak. The commission has released an official notification that requests candidates to follow the special precautionary measures to stay safe from the effect of COVID-19 that is now declared as a pandemic. According to the official notification released by Staff Selection Commission, no Bio-metric registration of candidates will be done. However, candidates will have to give their thumb impression on the commission copies and attendance sheets.
SSC CHSL 2019 Tier Exam: Preventive Measures for Coronavirus
The SSC CHSL 2019 Tier 1 Exam is scheduled to be held from March 17, 2020 to March 28, 2020. The commission has therefore decided to release the notification for candidates appearing for the CHSL Exam as the Coronavirus is spreading rapidly across the world.

The commission has allowed candidates to carry their own face masks. Further, SSC has also allowed candidates to wore the face mask at the time of examination. However, candidates will have to take off the masks at the time of taking photographs at the registration desk. The photographs are used by the commission for verification process by the commission.
Apart from this, candidates can also bring their own hand sanitizers and water bottles at the time of examination. Candidates can also bring their own ball pen that is transparent in design. Translucent ball pens will not be allowed at the time of examination. Meanwhile, the commission has also taken necessary precautionary measures and given special instruction to all its service providers for sanitizing and cleaning all the essentials at exam centres and ensure complete hygiene.
