SSC Constable Medical Examination has been postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. According to the official notification released by Staff Selection Commission, the Ministry of Home Affairs, which is the competent authority has taken the decision to postpone SSC GD (Constable) Medical Examination in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Riffles Examination, 2018 due to the COVID-19 Virus outbreak that has affected everyone in some way or the other.
According to the official notification, the Review Medical Examination for GD Constable in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 is postponed. The exam was scheduled to be held from March 24, 2020 to April 30, 2020.
In another update, the Detailed Medical Exam for 1,723 candidates of GD Constable in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 has also been postponed due to COVID-19. The exam was scheduled to be held from March 26, 2020 to April 7, 2020.
Apart from this, the commission has also postponed the Detailed Medical Examination for remaining candidates of SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant SI in CISF 2018 Exam due to Coronavirus outbreak. The exam was earlier scheduled to be from March 23, 2020 to March 30, 2020.
