The candidates who are preparing for Assam TET, we have some important news for you. The Education (Secondary) Department, Assam has rescheduled Assam TET 2019 exam date. The exam that was scheduled to be conducted on December 22, 2019 will now be conducted on January 19, 2020, due to anti-CAA protests.
Soon after the official declaration of the admit card, the same will be available on the official website of the department i.e. ssa.assam.gov.in. The admit card will be released by the Department on January 6, 2020. Candidates can download the admit card from 1 pm onwards of January 6, 2020 to 9.30 am of January 19, 2020, as per official notice.
For the convenience of the students, we have mentioned the steps through which the candidates can download the admit card:
- Visit the official site of SSA at ssa.assam.gov.in.
- Click on Assam TET Admit Card 2019 link available on the home page.
- Enter the login credentials and click on submit.
- Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Check the admit card and download it.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
Here are some of the important points about the examination:
- Assam TET will comprise of Paper I and Paper II.
- Paper I is conducted for Lower Primary Level whereas Paper 2 will be conducted for Upper Primary Level.
- The examination will include 150 questions in both papers.
- Candidates will be given time duration of 150 minutes or 2 and half hours to complete the exam.
- Each question will comprise of one mark.
- The examination will be conducted in 28 districts across the state.
- The examination is conducted to check the eligibility for Teachers' posts in the state.
- There is no negative marking for any incorrect answer.
