Central Poultry Development Organisation, Bhubaneswar, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying has released employment notification for one post of Assistant Director. The post is specifically for OBC (Other Backward Class) candidates. It is important to note that the post of assistant director is permanent. Candidates must not be above 33 years of age in order to apply for the aforementioned post.

Pay Scale:

The remuneration for the assistant director post will be in Level-7 Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. The post will be under General Central Service, Group B, Gazetted Non-Ministerial.

Essential Qualifications:

Candidates need to have Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from recognized university as mentioned in Schedule-I or Schedule-II of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.

In addition, applicants must be registered with Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council.

Experience:

Candidates need to have 2 years of experience in management of large size poultry farm.
