UPSC IFS Prelims Exam 2020 notification has been released. According to the official notification released by the commission, the UPSC Indian Forest Service Preliminary Exam is going to be held on May 31, 2020. Further, candidates must note that the last date to apply for the UPSC IFS 2020 Prelims Exam is March 3, 2020. Candidates need to visit the official website of UPSC, i.e. upsc.gov.in to check the Indian Forest Service Prelims Exam 2020 Notification and Application Process. The UPSC IFS Prelims Exam will comprise two stages. The first stage UPSC IFS exam will be a Preliminary exam that will be of Objective Type in nature. Candidates who qualify in the UPS IFS Prelims Exam will have to appear for the UPSC IFS Main Exam 2020 and Interview. As of now, UPSC has invited application for IFS Prelims Exam 2020 only. Candidates who are declared qualified and are called for UPSC IFS Main Exam will again have to apply and submit the Detailed Application Form (DAF).
Candidates who hold Bachelor Degree with at-least one of the subjects of Botany, Chemistry, Science, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Mathematics, Zoology, Zoology or Statistics. Candidates with Bachelor Degree in Agriculture can also apply for the IFS Prelims Exam 2020. Apart from this, candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and should be below 32 years of age as on August 1, 2020 to apply for the Indian Forest Service Prelims Exam 2020.

In order to apply for the UPSC IFS Prelims 2020 Exam, candidates need to visit the official website of UPSC, I.e. upsconline.nic.in, and then click on the IFS Prelims Exam Registration Link. Candidates must note that they need to register for the IFS exam is two steps. First, candidates will have to complete the Register by clicking on the part 1 link and then proceed to complete the Registration part 2 process.
