UPSC NDA (National Defence Academy) and National Academy Examination (I) 2020 notification has been released. Candidates need to visit the official website, i.e. upsc.gov.in to check the notification and apply accordingly. The last date to fill the online application form for UPSC NDA and NA Exam 2020 is January 28, 2020 till 6:00 PM. It is to note that the NAD 1 exam will be conducted on April 19, 2020 and the NDA 2 Exam will be conducted on September 6, 2020.

According to the official notification, all eligible candidates who applied successfully for the exam will be issued the Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the exam. It is to note that only unmarried male candidates who are not born earlier that July 2, 2001 and not later than July 1, 2004 are eligible to apply for the UPSC National Defence Academy and National Academy Examination (I). The education qualification needed to apply for the respective posts are as follows:

National Defence Academy Army Wing: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to have passed class 12 examination from a recognized board.

Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to have passed class 12 examination with Mathematics and Physics as the main subjects from a recognized board.

UPSC NDA And NA Exam 2020 Paper 1 Exam Pattern

The UPSC NDA And NA Exam 2020 Paper 1 will comprise questions of 300 marks and 600 marks from the subjects of Mathematics and General Ability respectively. The SSB Test/Interview will be followed after the written test. The time allotted for each one of the papers is two and a half hours.

UPSC NDA And NA Exam 2020 Paper 2 Exam Pattern

The UPSC NDA And NA Exam 2020 Paper 2 Exam will comprise a General Ability Test wherein questions of 200 and 400 marks will be asked from the sections of English and General Knowledge respectively.

The SSB will comprise two stage selection process, i.e. stage I and Stage 2. Candidates who clear the stage 1 will have to appear the stage 2 exam.
