New Delhi:

The much awaited India vs Pakistan clash at ICC World T20 in Kolkata may be called off as the host city has witnessed heavy rain falls this morning. It rained between 9 am to 10 am heavily which compelled the groundsmen to put cover the pitch.

As per a report, it was cloudy since 6 am onwards, and it started raining around 9am with great intensity. It rained for one hour, before the sun made a brief appearance and then overcast conditions were back.

Eden Gardens has a poor record when it comes to drainage system. It has been a perennial problem, one which has resulted in various international and Indian Premier League (IPL) matches to be washed out during this time of the year.

Well, lets pray that there no rain, and we see a thrilling game of cricket.
