At least 14 people were killed in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara district after a fire broke out at a ration store. 

According to sources, a scuffle during the distribution of kerosene ration led to a massive fire. 

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced ex gratia of Rs 4 lakhs for the next of kin of those killed in Chhindwara fire.
