Two women staying in a same room frustrated with life due to various reasons, clicked selfie with a cup containing consuming before allegedly killing themselves in Indore.

The incident came to surface after their landlord noticed that the duo had not come out of their room from last two days. Residents of Guru Nagar area got shocked after police broke opened the door to find the duo's body lying on the floor.

Police have seized the bodies and sent them for postmortem.

Indore Police have identified the deceased women as Rachna Choudhary Dhar and Tanvi. Both the women are said to be in their mid-twenties.

He added the two deceased room partners worked at Easy Calling Service, a call centre located at Johari Palace area of the city.   

Assistant superintendent of police (ASP) Manoj Rai told the media that they have recovered two suicide notes from the room.

The ASP further added that, one of the deceased, Rachna was married but estranged from her husband and had son. She wrote that she hated her husband and asked her parents to look after her son and also that her last rites should be done in Dhar.

While her roommate Tanvi in her suicide note wrote that she did not want to live any longer and did not blame anyone for her act.

The landlord of the house were the two girls had rented a room told the media that the duo had shifted as renters only two months back.

The ASP further told the media that the police is investigating the case as the suicide notes does not give a concrete reason which forced them to take such extreme step.

Another police officer not authorised to talk to the media said that family members have been informed.
