LeT launches online propaganda magazine, issues 'tough 2018' threat to security forces in Kashmir

Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed’s Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has warned India that 2018 would be “tough for Indian army and other occupational forces in Kashmir”.

In its first online propaganda magazine “Wyeth”, LeT spokesperson Abdullah Ghaznawi said that he will continue to support “common man’s struggle” in Kashmir.

“LeT is the common man’s struggle. It represents true aspirations of J&K people,” the Hindustan Times quoted Ghaznawi as saying in his interview published in the magazine.

In a veiled reference to former Hizbul commander Zakir Musa who claimed affiliation with al Qaeda, Ghaznawi said, “We have been distributing literature based on Quran and Hadith to show these groups actually are misled (sic) people and helping the Indian cause.”

Apart from threats to Indian Armed Forces, the magazine also carried propaganda materials and a list of attacks in Kashmir in 2017 where its members were involved.
