A medium-intensity earthquake hit the north-eastern state of Assam on Monday.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, a unit of the ministry of earth sciences, the quake of 3.2-magnitude hit Marigaon in Assam at 9.38pm. However, there were no immediate reports of loss to life and property.
