In a shocking incident, a class 7 student has been apprehended for allegedly raping his neighbour’s four-year-old daughter in Noida's Sector 73.
According to the complaint, the minor accused who resides in the neighborhood came to their home in the afternoon, when the victim was at her home along with her seven-year-old sister.
"The boy allegedly asked the elder girl to bring something from the market and used the opportunity to rape the younger girl and then fled the house. Later when the elder sister and the mother returned, the victim was found crying and upon asking her she narrated the ordeal. Her mother then informed the police," said Pankaj Pant, station house officer, Sector 49 police station.
An FIR was registered and the medical report of the victim girl also confirmed rape. "The boy was arrested and produced before the court on Tuesday where he confessed to his crime. He has been sent to a correction home. The victim condition is improving,"Pant said.
