Fourth year student of IIT Kharagpur commits suicide
A fourth-year student of IIT, Kharagpur committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his room, the latest in a string of similar deaths at premier institutes that have been blamed on high stress and mounting depression.
Nidhin.N, a student of aerospace engineering, did not come out of his room in the morning Friday and his friends informed the matter to the authorities.

As police were intimated, they broke open the door and found him hanging. A suicide note was recovered. The student was 21 and hailed from Kerala.
