69 trains delayed, flights affected as fog strikes back in Delhi

As dense fog continues to envelope the northern India, several train and flight services have been affected on Saturday morning. On Saturday, the fog conditions have increased. 

As many as 69 trains were delayed and 16 got rescheduled as the temperatures slips down in the national capital. 4 trains were also cancelled due to the foggy weather.

On the other hand, 9 international flights and 3 domestic flights were delayed due to poor visibility on the runway. The foggy weather even lead to the cancellation of 1 international flight and 2 domestic flights.

It has been a couple of days that the dense fog is affecting the air and train services in the country

In fact, the meteorological department has also earlier predicted that the nation will witness an ‘above normal’ winter this season.
