J-K: 7 killed after passenger vehicle falls into gorge in Kishtwar

Seven people were killed, when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district, police said on Thursday.

The incident occurred last night in Paddar belt of the district.

The vehicle skidded off the Kishtwar-Himachal Pradesh road and rolled down into 500-foot deep gorge, a police officer said.

"Seven persons travelling in the vehicle including its driver were killed in the mishap," he said. Bodies of all the victims were recovered, the officer said.
