5 Policemen, 2 civilians killed in Maoist attack in Jharkhand's Palamu

Five policemen and two civilians were killed when suspected Maoists triggered an IED blast on the Mohuadand-Japla road near Kalapahar of Palamau district.

Commandant of 134 Battalion of CRPF S K Linda said the IED went off when their vehicle was leading other security personnel comprising paramilitary and district armed forces in a special drive.
