New Delhi:

Due to rain and cold conditions on Saturday morning, as much as 70 trains are delayed while 16 rescheduled and 7 cancelled due to fog and operational reasons.

Two international flights and four domestic flights were delayed at Delhi's IGI Airport, whereas one international flight was cancelled.

Delhi/NCR region received rainfall last night and early on Saturday morning, dropping the temperature to 7-degree celsius at around 7AM.

National capital's weather was also affected by the heavy snowfall in Shimla on Friday night and Saturday morning. The snow conditions have caused all roads in Shimla, Kufri, Narkanda and Mashobra to shut down. Electricity supply is also affected due to Snowfall in the region around Shimla.

Chandigarh also received heavy hailstorm which created a white blanket over the city.
