In a tragic incident on Friday at least 8 people have lost their life and many others were injured after fire broke out in fire crackers shop in Vadodara. There was chaos all around and the injured people are admitted to hospital.

Earlier on October 21, six women and two men were killed due to asphyxiation caused by heavy smoke in a private scan centre after a fire broke out in a nearby cracker shop in Sivakasi.
The police said the fire was triggered by friction while loading crackers on a truck parked on the Virudhunagar ByPass Road
