AAP on Friday demanded that the government waive off charges on the transactions made through POS machines permanently so that traders can opt for cashless mode of business.
AAP’s Trade Wing Convenor Brijesh Goyal said the relaxations given to encourage cashless transactions are insufficient.
Goyal said that if the government starts levying transaction charges ranging from 1 to 2.5 per cent after sometime, the traders will again move back to cash economy.
