AAP MLA Alka Lamba prescribes punishment for rapists — bobbitise them

New Delhi:

Furiated with rape of a 12-year-old girl returning home after celebrating Independence Day in Chandigarh, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Alka Lamba in a controversial tweet has asked girls to bobbitise person attempting rape to protect oneself.

In a series of tweets, the AAP MLA has expressed her annoyance over the Chandigarh rape incident.

In one of the tweets written in hindi Lamba has tweeted, “Every father should train their daughters how to use sharp weapons. Girls should target genitals to protect themselves.”

हर पिता को अपनी बेटी के हाथों खुद के बचाव के लिये तेज धारदार हथियार देने/चलाने सीखने होंगें,बलात्कारी के सीधा लिंग पर वार कर खुद को बचाये.

Showing distress over the incident she has also asked ‘Beti kaise Bachao? Balatkar ke mamlo me 6 mahino me sunwai honi chahiye. Aarop sabit hone par fansi nahi ling kat kar chor deni chahiye. ( How to save daughters? In case of rape, hearing should be completed in 6 months. If allegations are proved, the culprits should not be hanged but they should be let free after cutting their genitals.”

In one of the tweets she wrote, “I am mother of a son, still I can feel the pain of a father whose daughter has been raped.”

In one of the tweets she has mentioned that a girl is not a murder accused if she kills a man in the process of protecting herself.
