Influenced by the historic work being done by the Kejriwal government in the whole of Delhi including schools, hospitals, electricity, water, roads, and Wi-Fi, people are constantly joining the Aam Aadmi Party. Shri Pankaj Gupta, National Secretary of the Aam Aadmi Party, today welcomed former Congress Councillor Anju Sehwag and Social Worker Arvind Chandela to the Aam Aadmi Party. Aam Aadmi Party National Secretary Pankaj Gupta said, "people have started showering praise for Shri Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party even outside Delhi.
Influenced by the policies of the Kejriwal government and the Delhi development model, a large number of people from different regions of the country are joining the AAP family. In a recent series of events, people from various industries, political parties, and social organisations are joining the Aam Aadmi Party. Today, two prominent personalities from Delhi are joining us." He continued, "First and foremost, allow me to introduce you to Anju Sehwag ji. Anju Sehwag ji joining the Aam Aadmi Party family today is a reason for immense joy for us.
From 2012 through 2017, Anju ji served as a councillor from the Congress party in the SDMC. She has also worked as a teacher, teaching Hindi and Social Sciences. She accomplished a lot in her area and ward during her five-year stint as a councillor. And today, she is joining the party with all of her friends, followers, and supporters. On behalf of Kejriwal ji, the party, and everyone, I extend a warm welcome to you.
" He added, "Arvind Chandela ji is also joining the party today. Chandela ji works as a social worker and is also a businessman by profession. He owns a construction company. His organisation assists and facilitates cross-country travel. He is also the President of the Khyala Market Association, which is located in Chandela ji's neighbourhood itself. On behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party, I extend a warm welcome to both of you.
The entry of these two has strengthened the Aam Aadmi Party today. This strength will aid the party's progress. We will be able to work more closely with the public and in their best interests." AAP MLA Somnath Bharti said, "I was a part of the 'Delhi Revolution' that took place in Chandigarh, and this is my first time meeting everyone since then. For seven days, I campaigned door-to-door. The most intriguing development is that the country now has a viable alternative to Modi. This is based on my personal experience in Chandigarh. In my door-to-door campaign, I noticed that Arvind Kejriwal ji's popularity and acceptance among the people has spread across the country.
He formed the government here in 2013 with 28 seats, as everyone knows. We won 28 out of 70 seats here, and 14 out of 35 seats there. Today, I'd want to congratulate the entire Aam Aadmi Party family on the fact that there is a "Delhi" in Chandigarh as well." He continued, "Arvind Chandela Ji and Anju Sehwag are heartily welcomed to the party. It is admirable how Anju Ji served the public throughout her political career as a Congress Councillor from 2012 to 2017. Despite the several choices available to her, she opted to join the Aam Aadmi Party, which we consider to be a huge honor.
