The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday organised ‘Sri Sukhmani Sahib paath’ across Punjab as a token of gratitude on the defeat of the ego of the central government, in front of the historic farmers’ struggle which lasted for almost a year; with mutual unity, solidarity, patience, peace and under the auspices of the Indian Constitution and on the victory of the ‘annadatas’ along with the democracy. The AAP offered prayers in memory of the farmers, laborers and women who were martyred during the farmers’ struggle.

In a statement issued from the party headquarters, AAP state general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat and state secretary Gagandeep Singh Chadha said that November 19 would be remembered as a golden day in Indian history like August 15 and January 26; because it is not only a symbol of ‘annadatas’ victory, but also a good sign that democracy, which has been trembling by the principles and concepts of the Indian Constitution and the original federal structure, is on track again.
