Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson criticises Ashutosh for inappropriate comment, calls him shameless

Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Tushar Gandhi on Saturday criticised Aam Adami Party’s senior leader and spokesperson Ashutosh for comparing AAP MLA Sandeep Kumar’s indecent activities with Gandhi’s experiments.

“AAP's Ashutosh comparing AAP Minister's sexcapades to Bapu's Bramhacharya Experiments reflects his moral & ethical decay. He is Shameless,” Tushar tweeted.

Ashutosh had on Friday said that Sadeep, who is currently embroiled in a sex scandal, lived with desires beyond social boundaries like many great leaders of India. Ashutosh had cited examples Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatam Gandhi.

For this, Ashutosh came under fire from his own party MLAs as well.

Reacting on the comparison, party MLA Kapil Mishra tweeted: “Comaprison with Bapu is not possible. Truth, love are different emotions and perversion different. To cover up dirt and to clean up are two different issues”

Earlier in the day, Delhi’s deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia had told media that Ashutosh’s view is his personal stand on the issue. Party does not agree with it. “There is no justification for such behaviour,” he said.

AAP has ssuspended Sandeep Kumar from party’s primary membership and has expelled him from the ministry office.
On Friday, Congress leader Promod Tiwari had called Ashutosh’s comment vulgar and had demanded his resignation from the party.
