Aditya Narayan, who is the son of renowned Bollywood singer Udit Narayan, is in news for allegedly misbehaving with IndiGo airlines staff. The singer was recently caught on camera, where he can be seen abusing and threatening one airline employee after an altercation.
According to media reports, Aditya was stopped at Raipur airport after his luggage was found to be more than the cabin limit.
When confronted by the ground staff to pay the excess baggage charges, the singer-host lost his cool. He used unparliamentary language and accused the Indigo officials of abusing him first.
IndiGo airlines have released a statement stating that Aditya and his group of five people were carrying excess baggage of 40 kgs and refused to pay the full charge of Rs. 13,000. The singer was not willing to pay anything more than Rs. 10,000 and even abused a female member of the staff as per the airlines.
The airline has said that Aditya was only allowed to board the plane after he apologised to the airline staff.
