After missing the cut in high stake Gujarat Assembly elections, Congress party is holding a three-day introspection meet starting from Wednesday, said AICC General Secretary Ashok Gehlot.
“We are going to organise a three-day review meet starting December 20. The meeting will be attended by all the district president, party candidates and leaders,” Ashok Gehlot, Congress’s election in-charge in Gujarat told News Nation.
Rahul Gandhi-led Congress put up a strong fight in the high-stake assembly elections in Modi’s home state Gujarat and restricted the BJP below hundred mark.
The Congress won 77, up by 16 seats in the Gujarat assembly elections while BJP crossed the halfway mark and got 99 seats, down by 16 from 115 seats in 2012 assembly polls.
Rahul Gandhi termed the Gujarat verdict as a “moral” victory for Congress saying the election results in PM Modi’s hometown have raised “serious questions” on his “credibility.”
