Sacked AIADMK party general secretary VK Sasikala’s nephew TTV Dhinakaran on Sunday demanded Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E Palaniswami’s resignation, saying that “he is a chief minister because of Sasikala.”
Of late, Sasikala has been expelled in the general council meeting of which Dhinakaran faction did not approve and approached the Election Commission.
While talking to ANI, Dhinakaran said,”Palaniswami is a chief minister because of V K Sasikala. Will he resign as he wants Chinamma’s removal.”
Dhinakaran who had said two days ago that the government would fall within a week, said he was ready to send his loyalist MLAs to the meeting of legislators he was proposing, and added that "I am not responsible if they do not vote for you (Palaniswami.)"
After the Palaniswami and Panneerselvam camps merged last month, Dhinakaran loyalist MLAs had petitioned the governor seeking Palaniswami's ouster.
