Air Arabia flight G9 413 from Sharjah to Coimbatore, hit by a peacock

The hit by the peacock created a hole on the left side wing and fuselage of the aircraft. It could have cuased a major disaster but the pilot was successfull in safe landing the flight.

Air Arabia flight G9 413 from Sharjah to Coimbatore carrying 107 passengers was hit by a peacock while it was landing on the runway of Coimbatore International Airport as reported by Deccan Chronicle. 

The hit by the peacock created a hole on the left side wing and fuselage of the aircraft. It could have cuased a major disaster but the pilot was successfull in safe landing the flight. 

Air Arabia has daily flights between Coimbatore and Sharjah. The ususal time for landing is 3:40 AM and the departure time is 4:40 AM.
The technical help needed to rectify the hole was provided by the officials at the Coimbatore airport. At 9 PM the flight left Coimbatore for Sharjah.
