The Intelligence Bureau (IB) on Tuesday issued an alert of a possible terror attack in major states of the country including Uttar Pradesh.
If sources are to be believed, the IB has issued alerts to the police of Delhi Gujarat, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The IB has not mentioned any locations or dates in the alert, but it cited that the attackers could fix suicide bombers to carry out the attacks.
After receiving alert, the Uttar Pradesh DGP office has issued an advisory to all police chiefs, asking to enhance the security at cinema halls, shopping malls, bus station, railway station and crowded places.

It is said that the terrorists are planning the attack in wake of counter-insurgency operation by Indian Army in the Valley against intruders.
