Allahabad: 17-yr-old girl crushed by bus, angry mob burns vehicles

Angry mob on Monday night torched several government and private vehicles  in the Teliganj area of Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. The situation became tense after a 17-year-old girl was crushed to death by bus in the evening. 

The victim has been identified as BA student Monica. 

Teliganj area of Allahabad is predominately houses students and is situated on the Allahabad-Lucknow highway. 

According to reports, the torched vehicles include two roadways buses, two police motorbikes and one private car. 

Heavy security has been deployed in the area to end the tension. Rapid action force, PSE company, area's SSP, DM and IG are also present at the spot.
