Amit Shah to attend BJP workers meet in Jaipur today

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah, who will inaugurate the Deendayal Upadhyay National Monument at Dhankya on Wednesday, will also address booth-level workers at a meet.

Shah will unveil a 15-feet statue of Deendayal Upadhyay to commemorate his 102nd birth anniversary. The event will be attended by Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, among other BJP leaders.
BJP’s state general secretary Bhajanlal said, “The inauguration of the memorial will take place at 10 am and the Shakti Sammelan will start at 11 am, where the BJP president will address party workers. He will also preside over a meeting at the party headquarters in the evening.”

The memorial has been built at a cost of Rs 12 crore and is spread across 4,400 square metre area, the construction of which commenced on September 25, 2014.
