Haryana Assembly Elections: ‘Kingmaker' Dushyant Chautala To Meet JJP MLAs Today
Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala, who has emerged as kingmaker in Haryana, will be meeting his 10 legislators in Delhi on Friday to decide which party to support in order to form the next government in the state, sources said. Buoyed by the stellar performance in Maharashtra Assembly Elections, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday said that it’s time to implement a 50-50 formula for the chief ministerial post discussed during the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. “BJP-Shiv Sena will form a coalition government in Maharashtra. US Seeks 'Roadmap' To Political And Economic Normalcy In Kashmir
The United States on Thursday sought from India a "roadmap" to political and economic normalcy in Kashmir and immediate release of all political detainees as it asked Pakistan to take "sustained and irreversible" steps against militants and terrorists in its territory. Most of the top level and second rung separatist politicians of Jammu and Kashmir have been taken into preventive custody while mainstream leaders, including two former chief ministers -- Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, have been either detained or placed under house arrest in view of the Centre's decision to revoke special status to Jammu and Kashmir and splitting the state into two Union Territories. According to the fuel price data available on the website of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), the petrol price in Delhi was at Rs 73.17 per litre on Friday, while diesel price was at Rs 66.06 per litre today. In Mumbai, the rate of one litre of petrol is Rs 78.74 on Friday. A litre of diesel is priced at Rs 69.24 per litre in Mumbai.In Chennai, the retail price of petrol is Rs 75.99 a litre, while diesel was being sold at Rs 69.77 a litre. In Kolkata, petrol rate is down to Rs 75.82 a litre today, while diesel price is at Rs 68.42 a litre today. In Noida, petrol is retailing at Rs 74.85 a litre, while diesel price reduced to Rs 66.37 a litre. The price of petrol in Gurugram is Rs 73.01 a litre while diesel was selling at Rs 65.32 a litre.
