Amit Shah welcomes SC’s decision on instant triple talaq, says it is new dawn for Muslim women

Bhartiya Janata Party President Amit Shah on Tuesday addressed press conference after the Supreme Court’s verdict by declaring instant triple talaq as unconstitutional and void.

Shah congratulated Muslim women on the historic judgement. He said that he appreciated the Supreme Court’s judgement.

The Supreme Court’s decision is a new beginning for Muslim women where they will be equal to men.

"This verdict is historic, it is not about anyone's win or loss. I welcome this on behalf of the party," said Amit Shah.

Shah said that the BJP is looking at SC’s decision as a step towards new India.
