Amritsar court frames charges against Delhi CM Kejriwal and his associates in defamation case

New Delhi:

A court in Amritsar framed charges against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, and Aam Aadami Party leaders Ashish Khetan and Sanjay Singh in the defamation case filed by Punjab cabinet minister Bikram Singh Majithia. 

The Shrimoni Akali Dal leader had filed a criminal case against Kejriwal and his associates for accusing him and his family of drug abuse and trade during several rallies. 

The next hearing in this matter will be on January 4. 

The court has issued notice to Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh and Ashish Khetan in the matter.
