Anand Sharma says PM 'belittled his position by attending Ivanka Trump’s event'

Senior Congress leader Anand Sharma on Wednesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that the latter has belittled his position by attending an event of Ivanka Trump, daughter of US president Donald Trump, despite Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao was present at Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017 in Hyderabad.

While talking to ANI, Sharma said the prime minister should ask people of Gujarat for ratings instead citing certificates from outsiders and dubious foreign rating agencies.

On Tuesday, the prime minister and Ivanka Trump, along with 100 special guests, had attended a special dinner at the Falaknuma Palace, in the Old City.
