A day after three policemen and a BJP worker were killed in Kashmir, a regional group, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM), demonstrated against Pakistan here on Thursday.

Led by the group president Sunil Dimple, the protesters accused Pakistan of sponsoring terrorism in Kashmir. They raised slogans against Pakistan and burnt its effigy.

Dimple urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to not hold talks with Islamabad till it stops aiding terrorism in Kashmir and liberate Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Pakistan’s newly-elected Prime Minister Imran Khan had on Tuesday expressed his willingness to re-start the Indo-Pak peace process.

He said the two countries must engage in dialogue to resolve their differences, including on the Kashmir issue, and start trading.

Dimple said Pakistan and its prime minister cannot be trusted.
