Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will take oath for his new six years term in Rajya Sabha on Sunday. The oath taking ceremony will be held in the chambers of Rajya Sabha chairman M Venkaiah Naidu.
Arun Jaitley has been recently elected from Uttar Pradesh and will take the oath at a special ceremony due to his health condition.
"The Union Minister of Finance & Corporate Affairs,Shri @arunjaitley will take oath as Member of Rajya Sabha tomorrow,15th April,2018. The Vice President & Chairman, Rajya Sabha, Shri @MVenkaiahNaidu will administer the oath to Shri Jaitley in his Chamber in Parliament House," the Finance Ministry said in a tweet.

Reportedly the ceremony is likely to take place at 11 am.
On April 3, Jaitley was appointed as the Leader of Rajya Sabha following the re-election. He went through dialysis at AIIMS on April 9 and has been staying at his home since then. He had cancelled all his foreign visits and confirmed his illness with a tweet.
"I am being treated for kidney related problems & certain infections that I have contracted," he had tweeted.

Earlier in 2014, Jaitley underwent bariatric surgery to solve his weight gaining proble, which he suffered due to his diabetic condition. He even had a heart surgery several years ago.
