All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the deportation of Rohingya Muslims who have taken shelter in the country.
While addressing a gathering, Owaisi said if Taslima Nasreen can be allowed to stay in the country as a sister then why the Prime Minister cannot accept Rohingyas as his brothers. Â
“Is this humanity? People were killed and looted and the government wants to deport them,†he said.
“When Tibetan refugees can be accommodated in the country then why can’t be 40,000 Rohingyas,â€Owaisi questioned.
He also raised the issue of Chakma refugees who are staying parts of Arunachal Pradesh.Â
