Assembly Election Result Live Updates 2018: The Assembly election results for five states have been declared today. The counting of votes for Madhya Pradesh Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram started today at 8 am. The Congress has taken a decisive lead in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. Both the states have BJP governments. The Congress is also leading in Madhya Pradesh. All the arrangements have been made by the Election Commission for the successful completion of the counting process. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been in power in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh since last 15 years. The Congress has, however, lost Telangana and Mizoram. The KCR-led TRS is all set to get a massive majority in Telangana, while the MNF has won 26 seats in the 40-member Assembly in Mizoram.
