As Congress is looking to make a comeback in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, leaders from several Opposition parties have a piece of advice for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). BJP's ally in Maharashtra Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut said that the party needs to introspect. He said, "I won't say these are victories of Congress but this is an anger of the people. Self-reflection is needed." "We all were concerned about BJP's health. We told them so but BJP didn't learn and public gave them the indication. Nobody is with BJP now besides Akali Dal & us & we are also just doing 'Maryada'," he added.

Victory of democracy and victory against injustice, atrocities, destruction of institutions, misuse of agencies, no work for poor people, farmers, youth, Dalits, C, ST, OBC, minorities and general caste," she said in a series of tweets.

Former chief minister of Chhattisgarh Ajit Jogi said that he was happy with the trends and people wanted to oust the Raman Singh government.
Exuding confidence, AICC general secretary and Rajasthan's former chief minister Ashok Gehlot said that the Congress will be able to form the government in the state with full majority. "The Congress will form the government. This is the mandate of public, which is in favour of the Congress party. We will get the clear majority and will also take along other parties or candidates who quit the BJP for us," Gehlot said, adding that, "Congress president Rahul Gandhi cornered Modi and BJP president Amit Shah in the Gujarat assembly polls. Since then they are not able to stand again. They technically won the Gujarat assembly elections but it was their defeat," he said.
