Attack on Kanhaiya Kumar in JNU, youth named Vikas tries to hit him

In a brazen attack, Jawaharlal Nehru University President Kanhaiya Kumar was attacked by a youth named Vikas inside the campus.

The man reportedly abused & tried to attack JNUSU president inside campus. He is said to be not a student of the famous university.

Vikas was later detained by students university guards.

Reports also mentioned that some people, allegedly not JNU students, tried to slap Kanhaiya Kumar on campus but were taken away by security guards.

The JNUSU President was in news recently for shouting anti-national slogans inside the campus. He was even slammed for making claims against the Indian Army.

Delhi Police filed a sedition case against Kanhaiya and booked him. Currently he is out on bail for six months.
