New Delhi :
A woman was killed during stampede at Kanak Bhavan temple in Ayodhya of Faizabad district on Wednesday.
The incident took place in morning when thousands of devotees thronged to offer prayers on the occasion of  Ram Navami. Two people were reportedly injured in the incident. Â
Faizabad Senior Superintendent of Police Aanant Deo informed that woman was killed due to suffocation. The administration is probing the matter.Â
However, the district administration has rejected claims of eyewitnesses of stampede, saying that they have made enough security arrangements for the ocassion. Â Â
