The Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed CBI's appeal challenging withdrawal of conspiracy charges against Senior BJP leaders including L K Advani, M M Joshi, Uma Bharti and others.

Here are the observations of the apex court:

# The SC allowed CBI's appeal challenging withdrawal of conspiracy charges against LK Advani, M M Joshi, Uma Bharti, Vinay Katiyar, Sadhvi Ritambara, Satish Pradhan, Champat Rai Bansal and Late Giriraj Kishore.

# The apex court excluded Kalyan Singh in the matter. The Supreme Court said that Kalyan Singh enjoys Constitutional immunity as Rajasthan Governor and can be tried only after he ceases to hold office.

# The SC said its order should be followed in letter and spirit and grants liberty to parties to approach apex court if its directions are not followed.

# Trial has to be completed in two years. Now, matter will be heard in Lucknow Court and day to day hearing would continue. 

# Union Minister Uma Bharti will have to face criminal conspiracy charges. 

# The SC directed CBI to ensure that some prosecution witnesses appear in trial court for recording of testimony.

# The apex court ordered that trial judge hearing the Babri case will not be transferred till the judgement is delivered.

# The apex court also said that the case shall be transferred within four weeks from Rai Bareilly to Lucknow

# The SC directed Lucknow trial court to commence proceedings in 4 weeks and made it clear that there will be no de novo trial.

# The top court ordered joint trial of two separate cases against LK Advani, MM Joshi, Uma Bharti and unknown 'karsevaks' in Lucknow.
