World Boxing Organisation Asia Pacific Super middleweight champion Vijender Singh taking a shot at his Chinese challenger Zulpikar Maimaitali prior to WBO 'Battleground Asia' on August 5 said, “Chinese product don’t last long.”

India's star professional boxer and Olympic bronze medalist showed confidence that he will defeat the WBO Oriental Super Middleweight Champion in no time.

Vijender said, “I will try to finish the fight as soon as possible. I don’t think the fight will take long.”

“I am controlling on my weight so my face looks weak. Otherwise, I feel okay,” said the ace boxer.

Vijender and Maimaitali will be putting their titles at stake when they face each other at Mumbai on August 5. The winner will not only defend his title but will also take away the opponents title.

The olympic medalist Indian boxer said that he was training at a ring setup in Gurgaon everyday.

“My major focus recently has been on controlling my weight,” said Vijendar.

He added that he is revising on his techniques.

The 31-year-old boxer also told the media that he doesn't have much knowledge about his challenger.

“My coach is guiding me and preparing me for the fight,” added Vijender.

Three other Indian pugilists Akhil Kumar, Jitender Kumar, Pardeep Kharera, Dharmender Grewal and Kuldeep Dhanda and Neeraj Gayat will be seen in the ring taking on international opponents.
